Water is abstracted from the Ruiru River at the Jacaranda intake and treated at the established Jacaranda Water Treatment Plant before distribution to customers across our service area — one of RUJWASCO's core production assets, in operation today.
Our existing borehole network supplements surface water production and is being upgraded with solar hybrid power (see Ongoing Projects).
