Ruiru-Juja Water & Sewerage Company Limited (RUJWASCO) was incorporated as a private entity under the Companies Act and established in March 2006, commencing operations in October 2006. The company operates under a Service Provision Agreement and is licensed by the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) to provide water and sewerage services within Ruiru and Juja Sub-Counties, Kiambu County.
Water is drawn and treated at facilities including the Jacaranda Water Treatment Plant on the Ruiru River, before distribution to households, institutions, schools, hospitals and businesses across our service area.
