RUJWASCO is incorporated under the Companies Act and operates under a Service Provision Agreement, giving it the mandate to provide water supply and sewerage services within Ruiru and Juja Sub-Counties on behalf of Kiambu County — the devolved unit constitutionally responsible for water and sanitation services.
As a licensed Water Service Provider, we are regulated by the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB), which sets and monitors the standards, tariffs and performance benchmarks we operate against, in the interest of our customers.
